Ashley N. Besse is the welcoming voice of Van Horn & Friedman, P.C. and serves as the firm’s Office Manager, often the first point of contact for our clients. With a calm and compassionate demeanor, she helps callers and visitors feel heard, respected, and supported during what can be life’s most emotionally challenging moments. Ashley provides thoughtful assistance while maintaining confidentiality and ensures clients feel comfortable as they take the first step in addressing sensitive family and divorce matters. She also manages all firm billing, helping ensure clarity and consistency so clients always understand the process.

Ashley began her legal career as a legal assistant and advanced to the role of paralegal through hands-on experience and dedication. She later assumed firm management responsibilities as Office Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the office runs smoothly. Drawing on her experience owning and managing small businesses, she brings a strong operational foundation and attention to detail that benefits both attorneys and clients.
