Deena L. Moskowitz, Esq.

Deena L. Moskowitz, Esq. is associated with Van Horn & Friedman, P.C., practicing exclusively in all areas of matrimonial and family law. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University and her Juris Doctor from Cardozo School of Law in New York City. She was one of few candidates to complete law school in only two years.

Prior to joining Van Horn & Friedman, P.C., Ms. Moskowitz gained extensive experience in the areas of matrimonial and family law, representing clients in all aspects of these specialties, including prenuptial agreements, divorce, custody, child support, equitable distribution, neglect, orders of protection and adoptions. Ms. Moskowitz is also a court appointed Attorney for Children in both the Nassau County Supreme and Family Courts, which lends her unique experience in representing clients in child custody and parenting time matters, advocating for the best interests of the child. As a trained matrimonial mediator, Ms. Moskowitz has utilized her alternative dispute resolution skills to settle contested, matrimonial matters. Ms. Moskowitz helps her client identify their best outcome, taking into account their individual and family’s needs and advocates on their behalf.
